The idea of immortality itself I find despicable. Personally speaking. I would rather live a full and happy finite experience than an eternity of mediocrity.

Sheol is not hell, and has no fire, etc. All the Hell misinformation was added by misunderstanding people, later.

The word hell is not even in the original language of the Bible; it is a total mistranslation. The words Sheol, Hades, Tartarus and Gehenna have no root or meaning in the word hell. The word hell came from an Angle Saxon word meaning to bury. You go to the UK today and you can hel your potatoes.

Those who go to Gehenna are not sinners of the world; but are sinners of God’s people. (how precious is this a type of purification outside of God’s holy city. All things that are not of God will be purified by God’s holy judgment.

Jesus was not speaking to the world/pagan people/sinners; he was speaking to the Jews (believers during His time He walked o n this earth); when ever He used this Greek word Gehenna. The Teutonic pagan word Hell Gehenna is not physical flames, even though Gehenna is the garbage dump outside the city of Jerusalem. Gehenna Judgment is actually spiritual in nature; it is the reaping of what Israel had sown by killing the prophets and their children in the fire to Molech and Baal at Topheth and in the Valley of Ben Hiddom (later called Gehenna). God warned that those who go to Gehenna are not sinners of the world; but are sinners of God’s people. (how precious is this a type of purification outside of God’s holy city. All things that are not of God will be purified by God’s holy judgment. This word is used not for sinner, murders or liars; it is used with the word “BROTHER”.

There is another version of hell (at least to some) that is not generally touched upon. Eternal Life. To many the promise of eternal life might seem nice. Humans have a very real fear of death. That is why the men that invented the christian god and the concept of his heaven write in eternal life as one of god's promises.

However, I find that eternal life would be hell. 5, 6, 10, 100, 100,000, 100,000,000,000 billion years of living would leave one incredibly bored. Especially if that was filled mostly with worshiping. After that long nobody could say, write, think, sing anything new. That would be hell.

At least if one goes to the fiery pit where satan dwelleth, god eventually, supposedly, destroys them all, effectively ending their torment.

I don't believe they are destroyed as in going out of existence.

I believe in life and enjoy it but I believe it could become triresome and there is the option of Heaven for those in the Kingdom who need a rest.

I don't believe there are any supportable facts for that view.

I believe you are correct in this assertion since there is no Jewish tradition of burying in a fiery place.

He said those that believed would live "again" and those whom didn't would die.


Those whom don't believe in Gods know they will die, and be buried in a normal fashion, so no big deal there.
