Why should it? Why should masculinism define itself as a reactionary movement to feminism? If there is to be a forum, it should be for masculist discussion, and on masculist terms.
I don't think there needs to be a masculinist board, let alone have a preference on the colour, nor do I think it should be reactionary, however that does not mean we should ignore a clear issue of differentiation based on gender with what seems extremely limited functional basis by which to justify such differentiation.

Well...put it this way.

I don't think there's a need for a masculinist board either. I'd just put the threads on the main boards. That being the case, I'd argue for a more permissive colour.

I had no say, and nor should I have, in the colour-coding of the feminist board. Rather than comparing feminist board to masculinist board, I'd rather just work out what colour I think a masculinist board should be, if it does exist.

Since I don't identify myself as a masculinist, but might be interested in the topics, I vote green.

And were it solely based on the preferences of users of that board if/when created (not members in general, but users of that board) I would wholeheartedly accept since the differentiation would then seem to indicate more about users of said boards than of policy. I simply noted the lack of functional differentiation in topics and questioned why there would then be a differentiation in board status.

MRA is cooler (though I would likely include what it stands for because a lot of people do not know and so people dont think american gun totters have taken over the board at first glance)

If I may pop in here, I'd definitely suggest that when choosing a name not going with masculinism, but sticking with either masculism or even MRA. People seem to be using masculinist and masculist interchangeably a lot here and they really have two different meanings. Masculinism is really much more "men are superior" driven and isn't really about equality and issues as much as it is about "reclaiming" some idea of lost position over females. Masculism is more about gender equality and dealing with issues that affect men from that angle.

Just wanted to say that. Been bothering me a little. :p

I would absolutely love there to be a MRA DIR. As someone who is well versed in MRA, I would jump at the opportunity at establishing a foundation for Men's Rights here, and as well as taking the opportunity to correct many fallacies that I have seen here, in this thread, about MRA.

"Foundation"? That sounds so institutional.
Let's call it a "watering hole".

Could someone please explain MRA to the audience? On searching, I get Mountain Rescue Association, Magnetic Resonance Angiography and Motorcycle Racing Association. Don't make me scroll down the other 163,952 results!
