Please pray or keep in your thoughts the people of Japan, Hawaii, and Northern California. There was and will be so much devastation. :shout I pray for any RF members who live in those areas. :sad4:

I'm just waiting for the first fundy preacher to declare it's an act from on high for Japan's godless ways, or that it's part of the approaching end times. Anyone want to lay odds on who that first preacher will be?
The Big One's supposed to be on the Southern end of the San Andreas fault....which is about 100 miles from where I'm at. )(I keep wondering if the long-anticipated "Big One" will hit San Fransisco.
I think we are going to be seeing a lot more of this kind of devastation. When you hear how many regions are overdue for a major earthquake or volcanic eruption or tsunami, it's frightening. Just search for 'overdue [natural disaster of your choice here]'. We are living in dangerous times.
And yet people continue building and developing like there's no tomorrow, on more unstable ground and in riskier locations.
I hope that the people do not have to suffer too much.

I admit I could have done a better job wording myself. But since people are moving further into at-risk areas and the populations in those areas are rising, it's practically guaranteed that we'll be seeing a lot more devastation, to humans at least.
