Is Obama a "Natural Born Citizen" as required by the US Constitution to hold the office of President?
Natural Born Citizen Defined: A person must be a native born citizen of the United States born on US soil and one of his or her parents is natural born or naturalized OR if born on foreign soil must be the son or daughter of a native born citizen of the United States And subject to US Jurisdiction.

The Supreme Court has already stated that the President is a natural-born citizen. If people want to challenge him on his policies, that's fine, but this just looks like more fringe stupidity.

With all due respect to soldiers, why does the opinion of a US soldier serving in Iraq on matters of constitutional law carry any more weight than anyone else's? Is there some sort of special evidence in Iraq about Obama's place of birth that isn't common knowledge but might be found by a soldier patrolling Baghdad?

Also, to get a sense of the magnitude of this issue contrast the following, and ask yourself what each implies about the general feeling of the US military:

- two (2) soldiers felt so strongly about the issue of President Obama's eligibility for office that they wrote letters.
- at least twelve (12) soldiers felt so strongly about the issue of the legality of the Iraq War that they deserted and fled to Canada, risking court-martial and imprisonment by doing so.

If this story, in which only two soliders took a stand on an issue at zero personal risk, is meant to give a glimpse into the general consensus of opinion of members of the US military, what conclusions should we draw from the actions of the other soldiers I mentioned?
