Actually if you follow he news, they are all true statements
I do follow the news VERY closely, and the OP citation simply is propaganda, although I don't know from which source. I looked for some verification of the OP through some more known sources and nothing I've seen along that line shows up.

However, there is a feeling that he's in over his head and that combating corruption that has plagued the Ukraine for a long time now he has seemed unable to cope with.

He banned 11 political parties including the number 2 party in parliament, he declared martial law, and he got rid of independent media news and made them all broadcast the government station only, if you don't believe that then you are just ignorant of the facts, nothing I can say to you

Link(s) please?

Martial law, yes, as parliament wouldn't likely have a chance to meet under these circumstances. And under martial law there typically are some other provisions and/or restrictions.

My problem was and is with the OP link-- did you read it?

BTW, the parties banned all had Russian connections, and Russian propaganda on this has been vociferous.

the links were already posted, where were you??
Well, believe it or not, I don't spend most of my life here at RF, nor do I take anything for granted. If you tell me where they are, I'll read them. OTOH, if you want to act like a middle school child, that's your choice.

@Lyndon

Thanks but all that shows up is a series of videos to watch, and none of them deal with the Ukraine.

Ukraine to ban 11 political parties with ties to Russia

The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine decided to ban the activity of Opposition Party — For Life, Shariy Party, Nashi, Opposition Bloc, Left Opposition, Union of Left Forces, State, Progressive Socialist Party of Ukraine, Socialist Party of Ukraine, Socialists Party and Volodymyr Saldo Bloc, Zelensky said.

BTW, the parties banned all had Russian connections, and Russian propaganda on this has been vociferous.
It's still not a great look when a country's ruling party, which was created specifically as a vehicle for the country's president to dominate parliamentary politics, bans some of its largest opposition parties, many of whom have publically condemned the Russian invasion.

In the PRC, Chairman Xi's anti-corruption campaigns provided a readimade justification to get rid of political rivals and people from the wrong faction, as well as several non-party affiliated celebrities.
