Worried about this...

Recently I've noticed something a little concerning about some of the LHPers. A few have mentioned Hitler and some racist themes. Has anyone noticed this?

I have been one to mention these things. I don't feel the way I do because of my Satanic beliefs though. I don't see a huge problem and I don't see a need to be worried about it, it is someone's personal belief. However it is worth getting worried about if the person is radical in their beliefs and starts committing crimes, attending skinhead meetings or whatever, etc.

I personally haven't noticed any racial comments made. Though it is common knowledge among those in the know that the Nazis attempted to utilize occult forces in their quest for power. Though they misdirected this force in a very extreme way which probably helped in their downfall. It's a good thing or your and I might be speaking German right now.

You mean on this forum? There is a thread discussing it, but the majority of the LHP crowd simply showed their disdain for Neo-Nazism.

Outside of the forum there are plenty of pseudo satanic groups with a Neo-Nazi flavouring, but they tend to be composed mostly of angsty youths squabbling over the internet. The few groups that bring their violence outside of internet quarrels tend to be dealt with pretty swiftly.
I noticed you live in the UK. You may have heard of Combat 18? They were a violent Neo-Nazi group at one time who (supposedly) had links to theistic Satanism, but as far as I'm aware, Combat 18 has pretty much been wiped out now.

Here is the thing - Nazi imagery is very powerful. Just as the memetics of 'Satan' is imbibed with power through negative cultural propaganda - so too is the memetics of 'Nazi-ism', and all that has come to represent within western society. For two generations now we have been inundated with anti Nazi blitzkrieg, Much like the devil, anything Hitler touched is automatically demonized. There is much power in both its imagery and aesthetics.

I think it is important to approach things from the third side. I think Hitler was a madman, but I also think there is much occult knowledge to be gained from ww2 Germany, 'Strength through Joy', an ingeniously effective bit of lesser magic. And eugenics was the best horse to never make it out of the gate.

As Satanists, I think it is important for us to see and go beyond societal conditioning.

Yea, me too, but not forced to under some kind of Nazi Socialist ragime
As a brief aside, do you honestly believe the government we have now is any more benevolent than the government we might have had? What qualitative differences might you expect? History, as they say, is always penned by the victor.

To some Black Magicians the Wewelsburg castle in Germany where Himmler and the SS would perform their Magical rites is the modern day gateway to the Powers of Darkness. It was there that Dr. Michael Aquino peformed his now famous "Wewelsburg Working" in the "Hall of the Dead" chamber. One of the results of the Working was the re-consecration of the Order of the Trapezoid in the Temple of Set.

Another interesting note: The Nazis were particularly interested in Rune Magic. They employed on a massive scale Rune Magic, Runic imagery such as the Sun Wheel (Swastika), the S Rune (SS), the Tyr Rune. And they were particularly interested in Old Norse mythology. They did manage to conjure a massive psychic energy and ultilized it across Europe. However, in their greed for power they misdirected this psychic force which became their undoing. You don't mess with the Powers of Darkness if you don't know how to control Them.

This is one of the reasons why we have schools of Black Magic like the Temple of Set. These type of schools are very important... read P.D. Ouspensky's "The Psychology of Mans Possible Evolution".

Dr. Michael Aquino, for the record, is NOT a neo-Nazi!

I am well aware of Aquinos opinions and leanings. He is a regular poster at another forum I frequent, I have had several personal discussions with him. His theism is by far the coolest one of the bunch.

Well, at least we have freedom of religion, so far. And so far, the freedom to think for ourselves. I can see signs of Socialism on the rise in America, such as the government wanting to take over 1/6 of the economy by taking over the best health care system in the world. But all this is political, reserved for another forum.

But I think I know where your heading with this.;)

I was wondering the same thing, I've browsed it a couple of times, but I'm not convinced the person calling themselves Michael Aquino there is actually him at all.

No. It's Aquino. He only posts on the site to correct misconceptions some in the 600 Club have pertaining to the Temple of Set.

Oh it's him alright. There are actually several members there, including the sites administrator (the site in question has close ties with the FSC), that spent a significant amount of time at 6114 with LaVey and company before his passing. These have verified many times over that Aquino is in fact who he says he is.

I stand corrected ;)

For further somewhat well researched information on Combat 18 and other such organizations of "ansty youths" It would be best to go get your information from somebody who has done non-lazy research who has no bias with either Satanism or National-Socialism such as HERE.

I'll paste this article's table of content for those few inn here who aren't lazy enough to read further on the matter, rather than take a single biased opinionated post in a single forum such as this as gospel. We should each - those of us who aspire to be intelligent grown ups who think for ourselves - learn to not put so much stock in other people's biased opinions:

Having read that, it becomes clear this is neither unbiased nor impartial, and that the author has a clear axe to grind against Anton LaVey, the church or Satan and Satanism in general.

Disgusting.

Dear SERVANTOFSET,

I hope we can put this whole neo-Nazi misconception to rest. The LHPathers on this forum are not Nazi sympathizers. Thanks.:)

And as for SugaCubez352, with all do respect, I can state with confidence and experience that neither the Temple of Set, Order of the Trapezoid, or the Church of Satan are NOT neo-Nazi. Just because a Magician has an interest in Rune Magic and Old Norse Mythology doesn't make them Nazis.
