Alright Revolting one, I got a game (with a fun motive I'll reveal later). Without looking it up, can you give us the famous 'box of chocolates' quote from Forrest Gump from your recall?Author of Forest Gump, Winston Groom has merged with the infinite.

"My mama always used to say that life is like a box of chocolates.Alright Revolting one, I got a game (with a fun motive I'll reveal later). Without looking it up, can you give us the famous 'box of chocolates' quote from Forrest Gump from your recall?
OK, now the reveal. Are you familiar with the concept of the Mandela Effect?"My mama always used to say that life is like a box of chocolates.
You never know what you'll get."
It's what I remember, but I've no confidence in
it cuz I remember other quotes incorrectly.
I checked....sorta close.
- “My mama always said, ‘Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get.'”-Forrest
Of course.OK, now the reveal. Are you familiar with the concept of the Mandela Effect?
Memories are imperfect things.I clearly remember from the movie (like you did) 'Life is'. Not 'Life was'. I don't know how clear your memory is of that word but 'was' is the past tense and makes less sense.
Not so mysterious.Anyway this is considered by many (myself included) to be a mysterious Mandela Effect change.
It isn't nonsense at all.And even this quote is ironically apropos to the Mandela Effect: 'You never know what you are going to get'.
I would think a level head like yours wouldn't entertain the nonsense I'm seriously spewing, LOL.
I am a believer in the Mandela Effect being something real but not possible in our straightforward understanding of reality.Of course.
Memories are imperfect things.
Not so mysterious.
I remembered the meaning.
So when reconstructing the quote, it emerges with what makes sense.
What I didn't remember was his perspective of his mother being dead,
hence his use of the past tense.
It isn't nonsense at all.
Rather obvious actually.
Another....
"Luke, I am your father."
Didn't you promise to repay that $5 I loaned you last week?I am a believer in the Mandela Effect being something real but not possible in our straightforward understanding of reality.
I of course also believe in normal memory errors too and make them commonly like everyone.
