I would imagine that if the guy who released the dogs gave us a sawed-off shotgun so that we could defend ourselves would be a more accurate analogy.
That still does not make for a not-inherently-messed-up situation.
Actually, reminds me a bit of the plot for The Running Man.

Satan does not even want to be worshiped, so religion is not something he created. That was man.
I do not consider that a just and righteous God. And the "God's ways are not our ways/we can't understand them" argument is not one I find to be a valid one.

IMO, Satan is not evil, but rather mislabeled and misunderstood.

In the bible which claims to be God's word, Satan appears to be much more appealing than the abrahamic god. If that's what we see from God's slanted account then just how terrible must God be in reality? It's like reading someone's memoirs in which they describe themselves as a a bit of a #@*$ and then having to guess what they are really like.
