I think our government became "for sale" a long time ago, although the quality of people seeking to buy it appears to change depending on the quality of the product.

I don't know what's going to happen with the money. For the Democratic Party, they do have a sufficient war chest, so I can't see that it would have anything to do with grubbing for Trump's money. Though I'm sure there will probably be some who will try to dip their hand into the till, but that's just the nature of politics in general, sadly enough.

The Democrats simply want to defeat Trump; that seems to be their one and only goal. It doesn't really seem to be about the money anymore. It's just pure, entrenched battle - with tons of money pouring in to feed it.

I suppose the lawyers end up with a lot of it in the end. All those lawsuits. I think we can expect more after this election.

The irony is that, the more money they put into the system, the cheaper it actually becomes.
