Why is one better?
That's an incomplete choice. I vote for neither.
It depends on you and you missed an option, understanding existence.
Now that is your view with which I will not agree. How do you know what will happen in future. Science is working on that, perhaps the answer will be found in Quantum Mechanics. Do not the virtual articles arise out of nothing!'leaving existence unexplained,' would be an anti-science thinking. It is true the ultimate nature of our physical existence may not ever be explained, but the goal of science is to always push the limits of the unknown to discover and explore and expand the boundaries of our knowledge.
I agree.I suppose it would depend on who is doing the explaining. A bad explanation might be worse than no explanation at all.
I would much rather ask questions that lead to more questions than to just accept what I'm told any day. When one stops adapting to the growing world, the world passes them by and they lose touch with what's going on. You then are forced to rely on others to help you navigate the new aspects of the world that you neglected to learn. I don't like living at the mercy or convenience of others.
This can be applied to anything -especially in dealing with the nature of existence.
From what I hear tell, heaven is the last place I would want to go.Imagine you go to heaven and are handed all the answers.
Imagine you go to heaven and are handed all the answers.
That sounds terrible. What new things would there be to see if you already saw or knew them instantly? What would be the point of existence after that?
I sure would not like it.
Just free access for things no amount of study
would ever reveal.
