Life itself is a gift from which in a way we profit each moment.
The aspect of profit is to be seen in the light of the cause of the karma.
If one does something for the desire of profit then surely the karma will remain.
On the path to enlightenment we should know that all karmas has to be ended.
Become desireless.
To that end profit is only a gift from nature.
