I don't think there is such a thing. There is only physics we hasn't narrowed down yet.

I can believe this, but only for our plane of existence. Our laws of physics, our observations of nature and everything we have found out so far means nothing in the other realms of existence.

For all we know, our dimension is nothing but a parasite dimension or a weak dimension.

Not likely, according to the Sages, and according to my own flashes of bliss which I experience occasionally in and after meditation. Even the greatest sensual pleasures I've experienced are nothing compared to even a moment of that bliss.

Only the transitory material things get "boring", which, according to something I just read now, is due to ultimate meaninglessness. That is, once we get used to a material pleasure, it loses its meaning; i.e., becomes "boring". It is no longer satisfactory to the senses, and so they (the senses) seek after something else to be pleasured by, which will also eventually prove meaningless ultimately, and the cycle continues.

This reminds me of a Terry Pratchett quote.

Funny quote with nice irony, but only slightly similar to the philosophy I'm relating. Bliss is not found in sensing wonders, which are still materialistic sense-objects.

Earth is probably the closes thing to Heaven I will ever get. So I will agree with the Go-go chick and say heaven is a place on earth, you have a limited stay, so make the best of it and enjoy it while it lasts.

Yes we can't understand it now. But if it is in the realm of physics, it's possible for us to pinpoint where heaven is. We still have a lot of time.

Okay. Where are you? Everywhere? Nowhere? Somewhere? If you're as close to God as possible, do you merge with God?

I never understood what 'spiritual nearness' means when someone dies.

One can use as many metaphors they like but traditionally heaven is taught to believers (usually from early childhood) to be a place of “eternal bliss” and the abode of god, the saints and angels and also the rewards for those whose soul has no so called "stain of sin" or has been cleansed of any such stain.

Here if you know where to look.

Let's start with the earth itself. All life upon it is fleeting as we understand death is the tool that makes it so. We know that there is no visible eternity here. So, why are we here? To experience that fleetingness, to experience pain and sorrow. In Heaven we assume there is no pain and sorrow, so we must come here to experience such things. This is a testing ground for us all. Here we also experience darkness and ignorance, not knowing where Heaven is.

Heaven of course is here, always has been. You just have to know what to look for. We are at a lower form or level of Heaven and someday when the earth as we know it is no longer necessary it will be elevated to a higher level. There will be no more pain and sorrow here, it will have moved on to another created earth for others to experience. There is a process or logic to existence.
