I've just lived in California and Oregon.

Nope, but close. Dad was a construction worker, I'm the son of a pipefitter. He's now in management but he started out on his tools in the Union.

Ah. Well, if you'd like to explain at some point in the thread how you ended up in Kazakhstan for four years, I know I'd like to hear about it.

I'm working for the same construction company my father is working for but I went into computers so I wouldn't have to work for a living. So in Kazakhstan I was doing network adminstration and management. Check out the pictures.

Nice. How you remembered the spelling of your friends or co workers last names (and some first) is beyond me.

Born in Portland, OR. Moved to Puyallup, WA for a short while, then to Orting, WA until 3rd grade, when I moved back to Puyallup. My family still lives there, but I'm over in Pullman, WA for college.

I do not have a very long list in terms of States I have lived in but to give you an idea of the number of times I have moved, by the year I was 15 I had moved 16 times. And I do not think that is including the two times I moved across the street... I lose track a lot when I try and trace all the times I have moved through my life.

Utah - 15 years
Tennessee - 4 years
Indiana - 4 years and counting

I've moved a few times (mainly during school - I took co-op, so I would switch between work and school terms every four months), but I've never lived more than a 2-hour drive from Toronto.

The shortest I ever lived in one place was 4 months; the longest was 13 years. The last time I moved was 2005 when my wife and I bought our house.

north holland: you would not belief the reason we moved (a friend wanted a house there and asked my mom to sign her up, she filled out a form herself as a joke and won the right to buy a house there, she he wanna move? we sure why not so we moved) best part was that we only moved like 5 kilometers
