The flaw of Capitalism is not so equal sharing of blessings, the flaw of communism is equal sharing of miseries.
P.S- no explanation or proof shall be given for the above statement. If you want.proof, I recommend you to google it, and you will people more knowledgable than me giving you the proof.

Not everyone becomes doctor because they want to help. Many become doctor for the paycheck it offers and because they like Biology. And becoming a doctor is easiar said than being done. It.requires more than 10 years of hardwork and sleepless nights. And when I see that guy who always flunked becoming a janitor and I see he is having the benefits, facilities and comfort as me, I would think why, why I did all this.hard work and that guy practically did nothing and we have the same everything. Isnt that inequality? The hardworkers and lazy, the smart and not smart have the same everything. Whats the point of Hardwork? Humans at least most are selfish at least to some extent.

Intellectually, I can understand your point -- up to a point. But, emotionally and personally, I don't relate to it. Back when I worked hard, I worked hard because I enjoyed working hard. Yeah, I also liked the money, but I could have made almost the same money working ten or fifteen fewer hours a week (back in the day, I usually worked between 60 and 80 hours a week). Now that I no longer like to work hard, there just doesn't seem to be enough money in the world to motivate me to work much harder than I do, except when I actually need "a little extra". So, yeah, I can imagine there are people always looking over their shoulder to see whether they're doing better than the next guy, but that's never been a motivation of mine so far as I can recall.

Capitalism has yet to produce an ecologically sustainable economic system. Maybe it will someday, maybe it won't, but so far, it doesn't have much of a track record in that regard.

You might be that selfless guy, but I and most I know are just "common" people. We work hard because we want to better ourlives by more money. We like money and we cant stand to see our intellectual inferiors making same amount of money as us.

If you've got me tagged as a "selfless guy", I don't have a clue what you might mean by "selfless". I'm just not a very envious guy. I don't measure my own worth by that of others.

Yeah, North Korea, Laos, Cuba are best in the world right?, bcoz they are so anti capitalist. And dont forget it was Anti Capitalism that made USA one of the most developed in the world. Anti Capitalism and anti investment and anti private property that made China the 2nd largest economy. India was so better until 1990s when the govt was socialist and.now India sucks because its Prime Minister is capitalist. Right?

It seems that whatever system we have, sustainability will be a rough road.

But soon enough, a necessary one. To my thinking, Rev -- and you certainly can disagree with me, if you're so inclined -- the question isn't whether we will sooner or later have a sustainable system, it's which system, when made sustainable, will allow freedoms and liberties for greatest number of people. Which is, perhaps, trying to maximize two variables at once.

If you are not born rich its not your fault, but if you dont die rich then its absolutely your fault. Blaming your problems on people better than you and constantly whining about them wont do you much good. They laugh at your naivete and foolishness.

No argument here....except perhaps about how we might design the system.
But certainly the alternative to sustainability is unacceptable.

Are you channeling Rush Limbaugh now? You seem to share his perchance for putting words in other people's mouths, then pretending to have said something that goes beyond meaningless drivel.

Are you trying to have a conversation, or are you just hellbent on preaching your gospel -- whether its relevant or not?

So those countries are definetely better. If you dont have any answer just say it straightforward rather than calling the question itself meaningless.

Just saying to the general population. If you find it offensive then you are more than welcome to leave my thread. Why argue with a stupid capitalist like me?

What's meaningless is your saying things like, "So those countries are definitely better" -- thus putting words in my mouth. You're new to this board, so be advised not everyone considers telling others what they think to be good etiquette around here. Until your manners improve, I've got more interesting people to talk with.

From reading your previous posts I deduced that you are anti capitalist and think that capitalism is harmful to society as a whole. Then its logical to think you find non capitalist or anti capitalist society better than capitalist ones. The only societies where capitalism doesnt exist is societies of North Korea, Cuba etc. So its again logical to think that you like these non/anti capitalist societies of Cuba and North Korea better. These statements are not meaningless but follow pure logic. Unless you think logic itself is meaningless.

Phil25, I realized that I had misread your words so fixed my post accordingly but not in time.

I'm not going to watch the video because I don't want to waste 11 min of my life but to say that 'science' says something is laughable as an argument because noone has examined the studies and how they were conducted and applied in the video.
It's too bad such ignorance about how science works is on display. Or have you done the literature search to PROVE that NO ONE has examined the studies. Or are you just doing recreational typing and not trying to make a reasoned point?
