What is your favorite Bible translation?

YeshuaRedeemed

Revelation 3:10
I tend to like the King James Version, or the English Standard Version, and I need prayer to select the right one, or is there even a "right" Bible translation? Your thoughts?

There are definitely those which are more accurate than others.

I'm not a Christian and don't generally like to use Christian translations, but when I do I use the NRSV or NKJV. I still love the KJV though.

I like the World English Bible(WEB) (It's kind of similar to the ESV but open source) also the Young's Literal Translation. And the KJV. They're all Open source so that's good. There is another one the "Modern Literal Translation". I haven't really had much time to check it out very much. It's basically a reworking of Young's Literal Translation to have modern English.

My advice is don't stick to one translation but switch it up sometimes for different perspectives.

That is a good one as well.

KJV is generally the best translation or NIV study bible if I want some cross referencing and background information.
