What is wrong with those people who get tattoos?

Okay. So, "for deep spiritual reasons" What does that actually mean? Confidence? Am I right? Or is it happiness? It has two be one of those 2.
Why are you so hung up on those two meanings/outcomes? Symbols are and always have been attached to religions and spiritual practices. I am sure you are aware of this, correct? These symbols can and are in my case a symbol of reverence. Mine does not make me happy, nor give me confidence. It is a symbol of worship.

Also, what causes you to take such a negative stance against tattoos?

Okay. So, worship. What does worship does? Does it not make you confident and happy.

I believe that's what life is. Confidence, happiness, anxiety and depression.

There is a girl at the gym I like, she has some tattoos on her legs I believe. Would I still date her? I sure would.

If you don't mind Sovietchild I've answered all of your questions up until now. Do you mind elaborating on why you have such negative feelings on tattoos. I sincerely want to understand. That's why I'm in this community, to understand other peoples religious beliefs, or others personal beliefs. Thanks.

I don't know what you mean by negative approach. What makes you feel more confident? Everybody wants to feel important. What makes you feel important?

Some people they listen to music in order to make them confident, some people go the gym and some people go the army.

This forum boosts my confidence for example. The question is...Does tattoos boosts your confidence?

To be clear, you wanting to date a girl with tattoos does not explain your negative feelings about WHY people get them.

Listen. Study says that in America there is 25% chance that you might get anxiety disorder. Woman has a higher chance. Some people are afraid so they look for ways to boost their confidence.

1. Socialism.
2. Exercise.
3. Wisdom .

Those are 3 keys to boost your confidence.

My grandfather went to war vs Nazi regime. He got shot in the face. Spend 1 year in the hospital. He had PTSD I believe. So, you can imagine what kind of levels I am born with.

I've already answered that question, but once again NO. It is a symbol of reverence (worship.) I feel humble when I worship, not confident.

I do not walk around 'feeling' important. My spirituality teaches and allows me to check my ego; it's a beautiful thing.

I've answered your questions and elaborated on my spiritual beliefs. Can you please now answer the questions and tell me what your spiritual beliefs are on the ego?

I believe there is 4 levels. Confidence level, happy level, anxiety level and depression level.

I believe worship bring up your confidence level, happiness level and brings down the other 2.

To put it in simpler terms, I made this picture. Now you don't have to believe anything I tell you. I'm not here to excel you, I'm here so that you can excel me.

I don't like tattoos.
But for a long time I kept half expecting my partner Doug to show up home with "Rachel and Troy" tattooed over his heart or something.

His 18 y/o daughter Rachel was 8 1/2 months pregnant with his first grandson when they got hit head on by a drunk driver. She gave birth in a helicopter racing to the hospital, but neither one survived.
I would totally be OK with that tat.

What a sad thing to be upset over.

To be fair, if God wanted humans to express themselves he would have....umm...I dunno. Something, something.

I have trouble understanding the viewpoint, I have to admit. But I've been around a long time now. What some people worry about seems increasingly petty.

Why upset? Even study shows that women experience more anxiety after they get tattoos. That's what the topic is all about pretty much. Anxiety vs confidence.

What on earth are you talking about? It is ink that sites beneath the skin. That is all. That has nothing to do with anxiety.
