What if the end times are averted?

Many religions talk about an end time. Something bad is supposed to happen or gradually get worse until a savior or saviors or something intervenes and makes everything better.

But what if it was averted? What if there's something that prevents whoever or whatever causing the apocalypse. Afterwards, what if humanity becomes more advanced, technologically, spiritually and so forth, improves our world, creating new things and even becoming advanced enough to cure pretty much all diseases, terraform other worlds, and so forth?

We may not even need a savior, but need to save ourselves first.

Knowing us, we will find a way to mess things up. Whether by greed or the ever present need man has to dominate and exploit others.

Have you seen all my threads, and site pleading with humanity.... People don't seem to take it seriously.

So trying to get the world unified is something we've all got to work at together.

It could be averted, and there are many simple ways we can achieve it; yet the whole infrastructure needs to change from within, and people need to allow it.

It's like the Messiah could prove who he is; yet if no one is going to take it seriously, instead just to scoff, what is the point in him declaring it. :innocent:

Everything runs in cycles, they are a part of every aspect of life.
Many men are often oblivious to such things but women understand cycles very well.
Beginnings and ends are happening constantly.

Looking at the big picture, it seems that humanity is at the end of a cycle.
In order to have a new beginning, the old way of thinking has to go.
There has to be a cleansing.
The toxins must be eliminated.

Since this involves all of humanity it is going to seem like the end of the world.
The human race has always survived and will continue to do so.
When the cleansing is over the new cycle can begin.

Suppose mankind achieves all those things but God is not impressed and decides to go ahead and wipe mankind out. Then you'll still need a savior. The savior is a blessing not a curse...

Typically people, at least in the West, have a certain image of what is meant by the "end times". And very often people take various religious writings literally or even make up things which are not in the scriptures themselves.

From my perspective we've been living in the end times since WWII when the whole world was at war and continuing through the Cold War where the action of one person prevented WWIII. And now we're living in the final moments of the death of the old creation with the new one just being born.

My perspective is closest to the Hindu perspective with the dying maha (great) Kali Yuga marking the ending of Brahma's 50th "year" and the beginning of the 51th "year" of his life. His life being 311 trillion years, much greater than the life of the universe.

There is no judgement day for humanity. Beings are judged on their own actions.

But there is a real end of times and it cannot be diverted. In 2.8 billion years the sun will expand into a red giant and the earth will be consumed. No savior will come to save anyone who is still here.

God gave humans a brain. They don't always use them.

Maybe much of the apocalypse has already happened, the saviour has come, and we're just waiting for yeast to kick in.

People mentioned the sun expanding and destroying earth but by then people will have left earth already and terraformed other worlds. Taoism, Buddhism, Hinduism and Zoroastrianism also have their own saviors and it isn't all just christian based. Maybe all of the saviors will come at once. Maybe they will come one at a time or not at all. Maybe we need to save ourselves first before they show up so we can be proven worthy. If they do show, great but until then we need to be our own savior.

What if this is to happen soon anyways, and there is no way to avoid it, as the mechanics of the Matrix are slightly off; therefore atomic structures collapse, leading to the slow collapse of everything in this universe.

Therefore as the programmer of the Matrix, you try and come into this reality, to see if there are any worthy of keeping, to be put into the new version 6, where it won't have these same errors, and by version 7, everything should be infinite.

So the question remains, who would you include, why would you include them, and since there is no way to advert it; what would you do to help people compared to what has been done? :innocent:

They end times can't be averted. It's been prophesied.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 - This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

Mark 13:32 - But of that day and [that] hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

Matthew 24:7 - For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Luke 21:11 - And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Luke 21:25 - And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

You are taking about tyranny of the majority. Division of ideologies, different factions/groups, are necessary to avoid tyranny of the majority.

Space is really really big, and you are assuming that the technology to travel such distance is actually possible, but we don't know if that is even possible. We could be talking about having to travel for hundreds of thousands of years.

When someone starts, 'this is what you're talking about', is something we've all got to learn to see, is the ego projecting its opinions onto others.

There can never be a majority, due to equal and opposite reactions taking affect.

My statement was in context of people accepting the same huge umbrella, we all live on this planet, we all breathe the same air, and all add to the understanding of the things we know, about the reality we exist within. :innocent:

A majority is simply the group with the most influence and power. It is sociology; not physics.

That was the point, people will go to extreme lengths to go opposite to things, to be unique; it is a natural evolution process of dynamic conscious life forms.

So though we could create a majority ideology, some would always go opposite, and equal reactions; not many go the same as something, and then beyond it. :innocent:

That is a very shallow understanding of humankind. You really think most people just disagree with each other to be unique?
