There's nothing that Yeats wrote that I don't like.
My favourite poem is a very short one,
Gratitude to Unknown Instructors
What they undertook to do
They brought to pass;
All things hang like a drop of dew
Upon a blade of grass.
My favourite lines come from The Stolen Child -
Come away, O human child!
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand.
I love being outside and sometimes lines by Yeats just appear in my mind. He speaks to me like no other poet.
