Visiting Israel and Jordan

I really want to go to Japan and South Korea (70%) but 30% of me would prefer to visit Israel and Jordan because the climate is better and the food is superior.

What is there to do there ?

Amman, Petra and Jerusalem definitely sound interesting but I was told Tel Aviv is overpriced.

I eat a whole lotta Japanese, Korean, & mid-eastern
food (among others). Hard to say which is better.
Depends upon me mood.

Visiting Tel Aviv is a bit like visiting San Diego, but not as nice.

As for "what is there to do," what are your interests? And where on earth did you get the idea that the food is superior?

If you're interested, I can recommend a fun little winery in the Negev. :D

I've not eaten much Japanese or Korean food but I love Middle Eastern food. Also my vegetarian Mom is coming with me

I have told numerous people that one doesn't visit Israel-- they experience it! Whatta place to spend time in!

Even though there's so many great sites there, I prefer to spend lots of time in Jerusalem. For great food, go into the Muslem Quarter as my favorite restaurant is there. Unfortunately, I can't remember its name. :emojconfused:

BTW, two of my granddaughters just got back from Israel as they were sponsored by BirthRight, and this is their 2nd time there and loved it again.
