CNN, Crank News Network. When the network and its own anchor people admit CNN fabricates news, it is time to turn the channel. Or better yet, take CNN off the air all together.

When people claim with great certainty that they're right about
something because they have the "facts", I'm struck by their
cluelessness about several things.....
- Some facts are only opinions.
- Some facts range from somewhat to entirely incorrect.
- Facts cited aren't the only relevant facts.
- Facts by themselves mean little. They lead towards
meaning when made part of a cogent argument...one
which examines an issue fully.

Beware anyone who trumpets "I have The Facts!".
That's as bad as having "The Truth".

Ever since watching the Oz sitcom "Frontline" I have a really good idea now how news media really works.

Well, no one is going to fool me into thinking that an apple is a banana.

This is an apple:

And this is a banana:

I know the difference. :p

CNN told you that didn't they? ;)

No, they just show people going bananas.

But this brings up another difference between apples and bananas. If someone is coming unglued or starting to go crazy, someone might say "He's going bananas." But they wouldn't say "He's going apples."
