No longer true. Evidently the 'instant' cameras are becoming more popular among the younger crowd. They like the *privacy* aspect.

I even saw one of these in a store along with film packs!

and the orange ones.....orange crates

but I built a unique item of my own from whatever parts

"Banana seat" was the only term I knew.
There were a couple styles, & the one I pictured was the coolest.
Of course, I had the sucky looking kind.
