The question to defeat Paganism is by no means a novel one in the course of struggling for the truth. Pagan Romans fought against the early Church, as did the Pagan Arabs with the early Islamic community. In today’s world, where so-called “freedom of religion” encourages the racially and culturally uprooted in America to forsake tradition, it is therefore no surprise that “neo-paganism,” and Wicca in particular, is being promoted as one of many alternatives to Christianity, even by secularists. Such people are making statements to the effect that religions such as Christianity or Islam are “barracks-like” and “outdated,” and that they will soon be replaced by whatever strain of effeminate shirk they foolishly believe true. However, despite their wishes, neither Christianity nor Islam is disappearing. In fact, the latter is the fastest-growing religion in the world.

What are the main traits of Neo-Paganism? It would perhaps be futile to say that there is nothing good within Paganism itself. Evola remarked on the mysterious and primordial nature of Traditional paganism, and its spiritual virility. In one work, namely Imperialismo Pagano, he even urged the purging of Christianity (which at the time Imperialismo Pagano was written, had been on the decline for several centuries). This does not imply that Paganism is in any way theologically correct, but even with all its errors, ancient Paganism pales in comparison to today’s New Age movement. In other words, today’s neo-paganism is not even remotely similar to anything Evola had in mind; it is based merely upon the New Age ideas of humanism, individualism and superstition and a wasteland of shallow, materialistic feminism disguised as spirituality. Above all, is what the Neo-Pagans call “nature worship”, which is merely a chthonic, superstitious association of natural phenomena; this is in fact contrary to heroic ideal of all the cultures of antiquity. Today’s so-called Neo-Paganism is so far removed from the actual pre-Christian ideal, that it no longer has any room to demand concessions from other religions.

Because the Neo-Pagans in the West today are chiefly and staunchly anti-monotheistic, they are only capable of advocating and defending ideas which correspond to the chthonic view of paganism as understood centuries after it had been long deceased. As such, they use Paganism as an outlet to launch attacks on Muslims and Christians. This can be seen very clearly in their anti-Christian or anti-Islamic polemic which echoes the propaganda of a purely modern type that is also used by liberalism and democracy. Yet, for all their rhetoric, they have not been able to budge the will of those who believe in God.

The Neo-Pagans should realize that the traditional, divinely revealed faiths, have weathered hundreds of years of wars, social upheavals, and revolutions. Traditional faiths are not dying out, but people are flocking to them in ever-increasing numbers because the humanistic and Freemasonic ideas of democracy and liberalism have not been sufficient to guide them on the proper path. Therefore, the Neo-Pagans must learn to accept the fact that they will live alongside Christians and Muslims. This is the only option for peace.

I suggest you research the religion you're trying to criticize and put down. Aren't you supposed to be discussing Abrahamic religions in here? Last I checked, Paganism wasn't Abrahamic. Or could it be you don't want to put this in a multi-religion forum, hmm?

And living side by side with each other is bad how??? There is nothing wrong with diversity of thought. We should be embracing diversity of thought for it is our strength not our weakness. Everybody brings something to the table and that is how we have managed to learn and grow to where we are today. I see nothing wrong with everybody having their own beliefs and people being tolerant of those beliefs. The only time I would be motivated to stop anyone was when their beliefs caused harm to others. Those who want the whole world to think the same are not understanding how much of a death sentence that would be for humanity. Tolerance for diversity imo is the key.

This is outright abuse of the DIRs, using it to attack others where they're not allowed to defend themselves. Shameful. :slap:

It's discussing the problem from an Islamic viewpoint.
It's people like you who shed bad lights on their own religion. I have great respect for Islam and their beliefs, and had you been more tolerant, open-minded and less offensive, I would have had respect for you.

wasteland of shallow, materialistic feminism disguised as spirituality.

ahhh the muslim dislike and fear of women manifests its self again .. why do muslims fear women? .. they make thier women hide and be second class citizens and are afraid of the power of a womans mind .. could it be that they are wiser than the men of that religion ? I do wonder ..and believe so ..
how ever friend; you clearly come across as a fundie in a keffiyeh

Muhamand ( pbuh) said :: whips out her Qu'ran ::
FACT #1: The Qur’an allows (or, perhaps, commands) men to beat their wives into subservience.
FACT #2: According to Muhammad, women lack common sense because their minds are deficient.
FACT #3: Muhammad offered women little hope for the afterlife.
FACT #4: The Qur’an permits Muslims to have sex with their female captives and slaves (i.e. those "whom their right hands possess").

wow second class citizens in a religion .. Is that why muslims and some christians fear pagans so much .. I think so .. because we as a religion see the value in our women as spiritual leaders

I agree that this post is not only offensive but it is puposefully placed in a place where intolerant Muslims can criticize others and attempt to get away with it. This should not happen. If you are offended, I suppose you can petition the moderator to have it deleted or have it moved to an open forum where his ideas can be ridiculed, torn apart, and thrown in the trash..It is rather interesting that he mentions Julius Evola. Who is Julius Evola you might ask? He was a fascist, who like many of his kind, were against all aspects of civlized modernity, such as democracy, tolerance, open-mindedness, and multiculturalism. The fact that he says that Pagans should only exist if they are willing to support Evola's worldview, a fascist view which the OP probably holds himself, is very telling of what he is trying to achieve. He is trying to promote fascism on this forum which I find highly unacceptable. Also, I want to make a personal request to the OP, and will be petitioning the mods later on this, to please remove the link to his forum in his signature. I have browsed through it and it is basically a fascist propaganda site, criticizing even his fellow Muslims, and even down to the color scheme which uses black and white contrasts, with occasional items in red. Although the color scheme may not be intentional, the fact that it appeals to him and thus that he has chosen it to represent the vile, disgusting content he writes, shows a profoundly psychotic and unbalanced individual, which, if left unchecked, might corrupt the minds of casual, uninformed readers.

Well maybe your faith could learn something from Pagans, the Wiccans "An it harm none,do what thou wilt" maybe you could adopt it.
I hate to say it but this kind of dribble is what we have come to expect, what do you actually know of Paganism,it is so diverse that you could meet 50 that are totally different in their beliefs, you talk as if you are an expert but sound like a fool.

Just to clarify, it is not Muslims in general. Many Muslim women enjoy many freedoms, in several Muslim nations. The stereotype is not as predominate as the Western world tends to think. It's very similar to Christianity. Some Christians think women are to be slaves to men, and some Christians view women as equals.

***STAFF ADVISORY***

This thread will remain closed permanently, because the Staff wishes for discussions of other religions to be more respectful. RF's policy for discussion of other religions in a DIR area is as follows:

In Discuss Individual Religions (DIR) areas, other religions may be discussed in a *respectful* manner. It is perfectly legitimate for a particular religion to have its own perspective of another. Sometimes people can better define their own beliefs by contrasting them with others. As long as this is done with respect, the Staff will allow it.

Please understand, however, that DIR areas are not to be used as "safe" areas from which to launch attacks or bash other religions.
