The hardship of being a CEO

So, this is what losing 80 billion and public trust does to a person.

Is it me or Mark looks like a zombie now?

It is at times like these that I can appreciate being broke and unknown. Can't lose what you've never had! Go me!

tbh I don't really care if Cambridge Analytica has my data. I heard about it, thought "eh", and moved on. I probably should be more concerned, though.

Yeah, I suppose that might be the look. What's always floored me is how much free publicity he's gotten these past years. Every time I turn on the radio, I invariably hear the hosts mention their Facebook page and encouraging listeners to go there. Then there are so many websites which have the obligatory Facebook icon and link.

It's kind of uncanny, in a way, considering the plethora of options for people to socialize, send messages to old friends, chat, post pictures of themselves, etc. Yet everyone flocks to Facebook like a bunch of mindless lemmings. I never could understand it.

Edit: I think I canned Facebook for good when the local newspaper decided to remove the comment feature from their website and required that people use a Facebook account in order to comment on articles.

That's his "Congressional Hearing Face".
He planned & rehearsed this performance.
It resulted in a big stock gain the next day.

I do this thing that everyone likes
I make money
someone screws with it and millions of people are at risk to some degree

and this was my doing?

why am i the fall guy?
why can't people leave good things alone?
intrusion should be dealt with by penalty

kinda like blaming the home owner for the burglary
