Think about what you are saying: If something believed to be true is later proven as untrue, then it cannot have been true in the first place.

Atanu is saying that if something is really true, then it cannot become untrue. He is not talking about the belief that it is true.

A good example is the prior popular belief that the Sun revolved around the Earth, proven untrue by Galileo.

You want to talk about something you don't understand via your beliefs, which you don't understand. Beliefs are not reality; they are merely ideas about what reality might be. In order to understand belief, we must look at our motivation for giving them credence in the first place.

If you truly knew God, you would not have to entertain fantasies about going to visit him in some 'afterlife'. You would know that God is fully available to you right here, right now, so that you would be completely fulfilled, because you would have discovered that God is right there, inside, all the time, just as good old Jesus told you he was:

"The Kingdom of God is within you" [NOW!]

Unfortunately, you don't believe him, but instead are still attached to dust.
