Where are the statistical calculations?

I'm lost. What is this thread about again? Was there a rule that we are not supposed to actually talk about statistical reasoning? Is this Statistical Reasoning Club?

There are hundreds of different versions of the bible in the English language alone. Probably hundreds more in other languages.

The followers of each version claim that only the version they favour is the true and accurate bible.

The original version of the NT was selectively compiled from many documents, with many discarded, by committee some 350 years after JCs death.


That original text no longer exists.

Over the years there have been many intended and unintended revisions with so many different versions that king James said woah!!! Enough, lets make a definitive version, so he compiled a committee to compile a new bible from not 1, not 2 but 5 of those copies. And since then even more versions have been made by the faithful who believe their particular interpretation of those versions was not correct so, voila, another version

After all that, the only remaining full bible that is unchanged for almost 1600 years, written only 80 years after the original is the Vulgate.

So can i ask, do you actually have any peer reviewed statistical data to validate your OP?
