Spirit of rejection

I don't really believe in literal Spirits, but you've got some interesting ideas here.

You may want to read something from Bert Hellinger sometime. He's developed some therapeutical techniques that seem to be very close from your understanding of the causes of trauma.

There is a vast amount of information in the bible that is useful to read to.

I have read many books on trauma...self help books by the dozens. Reading these books helps in the sense that it is really good to know someone is able to recognise the various issues associated with rejection.

To put it bluntly. To put a plaster over an evil spirit wont make it go away. It takes a concerted effort. It means you need to become aware of your actions. You need to be able to step outside for a moment and look at yourself from another angle. Stepping outside of yourself when you have been imprisoned is terribly hard. And so, even though self-help books can help, and they are really helpful to make a person 'awake' to the problems inside, but to slay the dragon, one has to do it yourself. That takes corouge and it means you need help. The evil spirits make their way into our lives when we are weak, and then they weaken your strength even further. To get rid of them means...you need strength that you dont have.

As a child boys imagine slaying dragons and going on little adventures. Or saving the world by being superman. Well, the real hero needs to look inside and slay that which will rather keep him in chains. But if the person is dying inside, has no strenght, but the false strength he/she feels due to the influence of the spirts there is little chance for deliverance without the help of god.

When someone realised that they have these spirits in their life, they will by no uncertain means, make you fear to let them go...because in reality they have become the strength of the person, without them, the person would fade back into nothingness, and that will remind them about what it felt like, when they were 'nothing' to their parents as a child.

Jesus said...come to me...all ye are weary and heavy laden...and i will give you rest.

The bible says...resist the devil and he will flee, but it is hard to resist that which has kept you going for many years. And when you raise an insurrection against him, he will not be happy to leave, and when he does he will leave you in a heap of rubble.

The devil has come to kill, steal and destroy. But many people feel powerful, endowed with status, safe, secure with the evil spirits working in their lives. And so these spirits do provide you with strenght. But only so that you can continue doing as they please.

However, thank god for the gift of memory. If it was not for memory you wouldnt be able to remember a time when you had hope. God uses these memories to strengthen you. God uses your imagination to strengthen you. He places in you visions of a life free from satan, to make you want to reach out into the light.
