Once the tissues have been treated to a nuclear transfer process, the eggs will be implanted into the womb of a live elephant for a 22-month pregnancy."

That is really interesting. I wonder if they will even be able to clone/resurrect a mammoth?

Despite Mammoth Blood, Cloning Still Unlikely : Discovery News It seems quite unlikely that they will be able to clone a mammoth anytime soon. And the genetic material that was harvested could be shaky ground to start with. But it still is a very interesting endeavor.
