Sedition Charges

Prosecutors are weighing sedition and conspiracy charges and expect to arrest ‘hundreds’ tied to Capitol riot.

“We’re looking at significant felony cases tied to sedition and conspiracy,” Mr. Sherwin said, adding that he had assembled a team of national security and public corruption prosecutors specifically to pursue sedition charges against people who had committed “the most heinous acts” on the Capitol grounds last week.
This was much more than just a bunch of overly-juiced Trumpians. There was some serious aim at the overthrow of government going on.

On that note. Something we can all sing with:

I was hoping Randy would do a video for this one. Of one of my favorite songs from all Musicals ever no less.... haha.

Had only they had been wearing masks as they should have.:tearsofjoy:
That wouldn't matter, every cell phone in the building is tracked and location is known regardless. Which can then be linked back to the carrier and then the terrorist.
I'm just happy to see none of the wild animals found any members of congress. They sure were looking

Let's hope they don't arrest too many people before Trump is beyond being able to pardon them.

Typical hard core revolutionaries

It seems possible you might be
over-estimating the intelligence of
the average American for once.
When I heard they were taking
selfies, I immediately banished
from my mind my last desperate
hope they were Mexicans.

The New York Times this afternoon reported that a Virginia field office of the F.B.I. warned the Washington D.C. field office of plans for a violent attack on the Capitol one day ahead of 1/6.

If so, that raises the question of why the head of the F.B.I.'s Washington Office told reporters last week there had been "no indication that the day's events would spiral out of control." That's quoting the Times, not the head of office.

The reason for that might not be nefarious. Memos get lost or delayed in being passed along all the time. But it's something that needs looking into.

Not that what happened isfunny but spear- msn
may be a lot more representative of the seditionarians*
than the loopy left is ready to admit.

Also noted that Americans may live in the land
of the " brave " but withal are much given to
hysterics.

"Not -istas as you hoped

I think there are quite a few loons on the right -- more or
less siblings with those on the left. But, Audie, there is
already emerging information from sources such as the
F.B.I that they were far from all being loons in that crowd
on 1/6. We should all be cautious at this point in
reaching any firm conclusions one way or the other
that this was just a mob.

Ya think? Seriously, it's so saddening to me.

As I said, find out EXACTLY who, what.

As for hysterics, it seems fashfarmer., for example, to act the metro man and be terrified of snakes and spiders.

There are some men left. Try acting like that
in front of a farmer.

On a more serious level, when 911 happened
I thought, now watch the overreaction.

So did I. I flipped channels for hours. Thought,
"This is the most serious I have seen us. Ever."

Finally landed on Sean Hannity demanding we
nuke someone in the Middle East. I forget who
now.

Hannity utterly revolts me.

Indeed! There's a story some journalist --
I forget who -- told years ago about meeting
Hannity at a party. The journalist was a
liberal. Said Hannity approached him,
announced that both he and the journalist
ought to become friends because they
were both on the same side, given as how
they both made their living taking people for
a ride, or something to that effect.

Whether Hannity was sincere or not, I don't
know. But the journalist thought so.

To be honest, I give the story a lot of credibility
mainly because I've heard Hannity say things
I simply cannot believe he himself could believe.
