Do you believe there is a correlation between science and religion or not?
Here you go again, displaying your narrow minded mythical and religious ignorance regarding the cosmological contents in the religious Stories of Creation.Correlation? Mostly a negative one: the more scientific one is, the less religious one is likely to be and vice versa.
The methods of the two subjects are very different: science requires testable hypotheses and that we try to prove any idea *wrong*.
Religion relies on faith and assumes certain ideas to be true without question.

What on Earth are you really doing in the Religious Forums? Find a scientific forum where you can worship the ad hoc assumptions in cosmological science together with the other believers.

Yes! But we have to differ between the historic interpretation of religion and its dogmas and the factural cosmological contents in the numerous cultural Stories of Creation.Do you believe there is a correlation between science and religion or not?
I don´t discuss with strawmenSo you object to open discussion on the subject of the OP?
One is faith based
And a good science should not be in conflict with religion as in their Stories of Creation. But good religion should not be in conflict with science.

Polymath257, you answered quite out of topic, The question was if there is a correlation between science and religion, suggesting the religion eventually to hold scientific elements or not.Correlation? Mostly a negative one: the more scientific one is, the less religious one is likely to be and vice versa.

Both are, you don't know what faith is.

OK. I´ll say the assumed suddenly Big Bang Creation "from nothing" is faith based and even more so compared to the assumed biblical 6 days of creation. The word faith has more than one meaning. If you are going to claim science is faith based then you need to say in what sense and justify your claim.
