satan is a servant of god, doing god's will to bring us to temptation. how come satan is considered a god of his own?

isn't rebel a temptation? god gives us temptations, to test us, and the angel that carries the god given temptations to us is satan.

I don't know much about you, so I don't know what you believe about that. I do not know if you are a Bible reader, uneducated, religious or what. Do you want Christian scriptures about it? You sound like you believe in Satan. I don't really know you enough to know what you are asking for. Do you want to prove Satan exists? Disprove it?

So I don't think I understand your question then. How could the entity you describe as Satan match the definition you give for a god??

    By whom?

By us Satanists? Because we like to and it makes sense to us. I could elaborate further, but not sure whether you're interested.

By Christians or Jews or Muslims? I don't think I encountered one so far who believes in that (except for those Jews and Sufis who consider Satan an aspect of God - but even they don't consider him a god of his own).

There is one line in the NT which refers to him as "god of this world", but that can easily be considered a metaphor.

in orthodoxy, a great number of orthodox christians think that satan has a power on his own and they call him the fallen angel.

orthodox christians fear satan a lot.

I'm going to do the opposite of what I normally would do. I'm going to start in the front of the Bible and go backward to show that the new reasoning is now new but actually old and comes from the Jewish scriptures, mostly if not in its entirety. First look at James, which is very short and worth memorizing. This memorization effort will save you a lot of trouble later. If you cannot memorize it become very familiar with it. James says that temptation comes from within us.

James 1:13-14 "(NIV) When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death."

James 1:16-17 "(NIV) Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."

Next flip back to the gospel quotations of Jesus where he talks about hearts and where sin comes from. He says it comes from the heart. He gets this from reading Genesis, the Law and the prophets.

Mark 7:20-23 Jesus: "(NIV) He went on: 'What comes out of a person is what defiles them. For it is from within, out of a person’s heart, that evil thoughts come—sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person.”

Now we are going back to Psalms, where David sings. He wants the LORD to search out the evil in his heart and show it to him and cut it off. He wants a purified heart though it will hurt. Keep in mind that it was thought at the time that thoughts came from the heart, and that continued to be the figure of speech used throughout the Bible. You could substitute the word 'Brain' for heart if you prefer. David wants his mind cleansed of its evil intentions. He does not ask to be saved from Satan, just from his own heart.

Psalm 139:23-24 "(NIV) Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."

Psalm 51:5-10 "(NIV) Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me....Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me."

Proverbs shows how the inside of people is dark and has to have light shined in it to separate what is inside.

Proverbs 20:27 "(NIV) The human spirit is the lamp of the LORD that sheds light on one's inmost being."

Jeremiah is a 'Prophet'. A prophet is someone who is very sensitive to morally unacceptable situations. They are a lot like crazy people, because they get very upset about certain injustices that other people have become comfortable with.

Jeremiah 17:9 "(NIV) The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?" ----> The KJV says it this way "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" It is a very important Bible verse and an excellent one to memorize. Life experience witnesses that it is true. We do not know ourselves and change constantly. No Satan needed there.

Which orthodoxy? I'd think first of the Greek and Russian orthodox churches at that term, but there's a lot that can be referred to by that: Orthodoxy - Wikipedia

Also, why would him being a fallen angel mean him being a god?

'Ha Satan' is a very important concept, but he is not a being. It is a transliterated word that when translated means 'The Enemy' or 'The Prosecution'. I do not fully understand every nuance. When Peter starts arguing with Jesus, Jesus says to him "Get behind me, Satan!" Peter is, at that moment, Satan. That is my understanding of it which comes from Bible study, not from listening to people on TV or paid ministers.

It becomes difficult to support this, very real and accurate, concept of Satan when you have very little Bible study experience and start reading the book Job or other verses where Satan appears. You have to start with the basics about the heart and about where sin comes from. A lot of people, including many bible teachers, do not understand this. Job is first of all a poem. Its obviously a poem, but they discount it and say Satan must be a being. I have zero respect for such 'Bible teachers'. I will not waste time arguing with them or listening to them. That is probably about 95% of all ministries. I'm sorry if this offends anyone, but their ignorance will not be my fault.
