Wasn't it the Americans that drove back the German occupation of France and the Low Countries? Didn't the Americans hold back, for political reasons, to allow the soviets to overrun Berlin?
I am not affirming anything in particular.
I just consider the dynamics of those years very strange and...suspicious.
Also because it's all written in Galeazzo Ciano's diaries. Ciano was Mussolini's son-in-law.
The Nazis had never implied they were going to fight against Russia.
Out of the blue someone ordered the Germans to break the alliance with Russia...and to invade it.
Who is this someone?
Also because Italy would have never entered the war in 1940 if she had known it would have been a war against Russia and the US.
I notice that you avoid it too.
