I go back and forth between the jw bible and the kjv bible because of the idea of the soul leaving the body and going right to heaven and the other way around(the soul dieing with the body).

You first have to understand what a "soul" is......it is the living breathing creature....never a disembodied spirit....both humans and animals are called "souls" in the Bible. Both die the same death. (Ecclesiastes 3:19-20) Animals, like humans, ARE "souls"...the soul is not something that lives inside a body but is the whole living entity. When breathing stops, life ends. God has promised to restore life in a new body. The soul doesn't go anywhere.

Why do jw find the need to rewrite the kjv of the bible if it is 100% accurate?

The KJV was the accepted translation for many Christians for centuries, but as the common language changed and scholars became more familiar with the languages of the Bible and the broader meaning of certain words, it became apparent that more modern translations were necessary. After all, the KJV was itself a translation. It was revised several times, but as time went on more people became disenchanted with its archaic English. Modern translations conveyed the meaning of the scriptures more accurately.

Over time it became apparent that some translations were still guilty of bias in their renderings, especially where the trinity was concerned, so with much research and study, the NWT was produced to address those biased renderings and it has continued to be revised to reflect deeper understanding.

You don't need the NWT to learn Bible truth because no one can change the Bible's overall message.
If you have a good concordance and a variety of translations you can get to the correct rendering of all scripture.
