Toronto police board votes to reinstate 2014 carding policy

I thought Canada was an liberal utopia and Toronto gives us this! Quebec should secede! Quebec would be considered a far superior and civilized 21st Century society than Canada!

The French could support the revolutionaries with machine guns and MILAN antitank missiles!

I found this part of the linked article humorous.....
So far, all deputants have called for same things: detailed receipts to be issued and for police to inform citizens that the encounter is voluntary.

Given that cops can call anything "disturbing the peace" as a pretext for arrest, the word "voluntary" doesn't apply well.
