Poor Cop Training: Unable Recognize Medical Conditions & Emergencies

Despite the victim's complaints about being unable
to breathe & stand, they mock her, & arrest her.
She died of the stroke they said she didn't have.
This wasn't just one bad cop...it was every cop involved.

Reminds me of the pig near where I used to live who, while at a nursing home, tased an old guy with advanced Alzheimer's because he wasn't being cooperative.
In the end piggly-wiggly got to keep his job.

Apparently, it's a crime to be deaf when
cops are trained to treat everyone as hearing.
He was beaten badly enuf for continuing to
walk away that he was hospitalized for injuries.

Having a mental health crisis?
Problem is that if you call 911, the cops arrive.
They're not trained to handle such things.
Their solutions to all problems are to arrest or shoot you.
Obey or die.

Thorough legal analysis....

That's why I tell people if you love someone DO NOT call the cops of that person is in a crisis. It's too risky, it's too dangerous. Call an actual hotline for help and help your loved one this way. Calling the cops just too frequently ends up with the person in crisis being beaten or killed.
If you love that person, the cops just are not trained for that and they don't know how to handle it. Don't call the cops unless you're also prepared to call the undertaker.

Man was unconscious due to a seizure.
As soon as he begins to regain consciousness in
the ambulance, cops immediately rush to taze
& brutalize him repeatedly . Cops don't recognize
or don't care that he's in distress, & not lucid.
Cops won't let EMS care for him. Instead, they
perp walk him from the ambulance to a cop car.
Taxpayers will pay for cops' brutality.
Cops haven't been held accountable.

Cops will ticket you for not wearing a seatbelt.
But if they arrest you, policy is to never ever
provide a seatbelt. They don't care about
safety...just opportunity to write tickets.

This man was transported in a reckless manner,
& left unable to move...permanently paralyzed.
They brutalize him after his injury, & refuse him
medical attention.
Result....
$100,000,000 suit against taxpayers.
They settled for only $45,000,000, which is
necessary for medical care to keep him alive
hereafter.

Caution: The video shows the paralyzed
man being dragged with complete disregard.

This victim was manhandled so abusively by cops
that they broke his neck, & paralyzed him. He
said he can't feel his legs, but they don't care.
No ambulance. But at least they took him to a
hospital. Now he's in bed for the rest of his life,
with $20,000,000 of taxpayer money to pay for
his nurses & care.
The police department is investigating itself.

Warning: Graphic video of cops breaking his neck.

An interesting aspect to it is how insulting the
cops are to the victim when they don't have an
audience. But in the hospital, they put on a
different persona for staff...no longer hostile.
These thugs know how they should behave, but
they choose to be abusive when they think they
can get away with it.

And yet, when my friend had a stroke several years ago and got into a traffic accident, rather than just assuming that the old hippie was drugged out, the officer who responded first recognized that he was having a stroke and responded appropriately.

That's one positive case...I'm sure there are others as well.

But of course, that doesn't excuse all those cases where the officers were wrong.

Positive cases are good.

I recall that New Zealand had a campaign
to recruit cops that differed greatly from
recruiting here.
I wonder how well this focus succeeds at
giving cops a stronger sense of public service?

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio (AP) — An investigation has been launched into why an Ohio officer allowed his police dog to attack a truck driver who was surrendering with his hands raised, despite State Highway Patrol troopers urging the officer to hold the dog back. The lengthy pursuit on July 4 and the ensuing attack were captured on a police body camera.

Some are simply sadists at heart.

From the link...
"Police Chief Stevens and Mayor David Hudson did not respond to requests for comment.
It was unclear if any of the officers who responded to the traffic stop were disciplined.
Cattolico could also not be immediately reached."

I'm sure they were busy investigating themselves
to discern if there was any possible wrongdoing.

Internal investigations amd qualified immunity are the weapons of mass destruction the pigs have at their disposal.
Both have got to go but we need a Supreme Court who isn't severely terrified of bad guys and inherently mistrusting of the public (a reasonable assumption, I believe, given their history of affirming the anti-social beliefs and training of cops).
