I would imagine I'd have a similar experience if I attempted to grow a grape vine here.
Tomatoes do well here, though.
Tomatoes do well here, just not when i grow them.
Grapes (and figs) seem to grow wild here. Birds drop seeds, plants spring up. We got 2 fig trees like that.
