Like others have said can’t go wrong with flowers and fruit.I want to honor Mother Durga, but I want to make sure I am doing it correctly...if that makes sense? what types of offerings does she like?

I do know that during festivals, devotees worship her different forms.
Each has their own “taste” as it were. But as you’d likely guess, each of these items are also considered favourites by Maa Durga, so you can offer them at any time to receive her blessings

Yes, to worship one and not the other is like only doing one half of a jobWas I a shakta during my theist days? No I was not. I was a Shaiva or a Rama, Krishna worshiper. But they are not complete without Mothers Parvati, Lakshmi, Saraswati, Sita and Rukmani. So, in that way I was shakta also.
