Well they would have to find the solution to destroy the innate tribalism of humanity and come to a mutual morality. That manifestation, if true, would also have to compete with intolerant religions who would view it as an evil force, just to mention a few.

    Not yours.
When that time comes, it'll be automatic. Nothing to worry about, meanwhile worry about your own wheelhouse. Well, that's what I try to do at least. Hopefully, someone will come around to the idea and I'll have someone to fill up with my experiences so they can carry on that work. If not, I'll gladly die alone on the hill but I rather give someone a head start. The one I never received... I could have been so much further along, but there is nothing to do about it. No sense lamenting over it or being frustrated, just do the thing...

Baha'u'llah called them the many worlds of God, but of course I have no idea what they will be like, although I have faith that they will be a lot better than this world. :)

“As to thy question concerning the worlds of God. Know thou of a truth that the worlds of God are countless in their number, and infinite in their range. None can reckon or comprehend them except God, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.” Gleanings, pp. 151-152

“O My servants! Sorrow not if, in these days and on this earthly plane, things contrary to your wishes have been ordained and manifested by God, for days of blissful joy, of heavenly delight, are assuredly in store for you. Worlds, holy and spiritually glorious, will be unveiled to your eyes. You are destined by Him, in this world and hereafter, to partake of their benefits, to share in their joys, and to obtain a portion of their sustaining grace. To each and every one of them you will, no doubt, attain.” Gleanings, p. 329

    1) They should uplift there spiritual awareness, because you can only recognize as much as you are aware of yourself
    2) But IF humanity becomes "too good" THEN there will be no need for Divine Incarnations to descent on earth
    3) Anyway one should drop one's arrogance and judgmental behavior; be open, be anti no recognition

Manifestation of the divine? Interesting choice of words. The way I see it...

Take a look around you. Everything that can be seen, heard, smelled, tasted, or touched is a manifestation of the divine. There is no "next manifestation." The divine is constantly manifesting.

I think it's high time people become less concerned about what can be changed in "society" and in others and take a look in the mirror to see what they can change about themselves. One should manifest the change in oneself and set the example for others rather than telling others what one expects them to change.

I'm working on that too. I've been hitting the books pretty hard lately in regards to my faith, and have decided some things regarding my personal spiritual path.

But still, one can't deny the elephant in the room that society isn't guaranteed to recognize an incarnation - and that does make one look inward if one cares enough to actually attempt to see their hand in front of their face, so to speak.

I think you misunderstand what @Salty Booger is saying. Nothing necessary Biblical about being a manifestation of the divine. If you are on the path you speak of (studying Hinduism), you'll do well to look beyond this Abrahamic paradigm.

I was reading into things based on me believing Salty Booger believed in an Abrahamic God.

One day I hope to read posts from you that contain more of your own words than Baha'u'llah's.

If the individual cannot recognize such an incarnation, how is society expected to? ;)

Sounds like a riveting individualism vs. collectivism debate.

I won't speak for what @Salty Booger believes, but based on what I've read in his posts, I would bet he has a working knowledge of Eastern philosophy.

    I never betted he didn't.

Now I do need to address that I didn't word my thread based on philosophies completely of my religion. But I just assumed to do kind of a mashup of as many faiths as possible since it might be awkward for me to create Hinduism DIR style threads and post them in the Debates forums. Just doesn't seem right.

Fair enough, but can you think of an incarnation of the divine outside the Abrahamic paradigm that was mocked, abused, imprisoned, or killed (intentionally)?

Okay, I'll try to focus on my own faith a bit more...

Since the Rishis were just seers, would Krishna the avatar of Vishnu be a seer too or do you view the gods differently?

You do have a good point. I don't really know that well of one yet.

I'll defer to the more knowledgeable devotees here. They could likely answer this better than me.

    @Jainarayan, @Vinayaka?

I personally don't work with the deities or avataras.
