The world's biggest hacking group thinks Nasa is about to announce alien life:

Hacktivist group Anonymous, who have previously taken shots at Isis, Donald Trump and the Westboro Baptist Church, are claiming that Nasa is about to announce they've discovered alien life.

According to the group's latest YouTube video, during the last meeting of the U.S. Science, Space and Technology committee a Nasa spokesperson, Professor Thomas Zurbuchen, stated:

"Our civilisation is on the verge of discovering evidence of alien life in the cosmos.

Taking into account all of the different activities and missions that are searching for alien life, we are on the verge of making one of the most profound, unprecedented discoveries in history."

The evidence sure seems to imply that something is going on in the skies above.

It would cost a lot for spaceships and a continuous flow of taxes and black budget dollars could imply a rational that there is more than meets the eye and or that of public knowledge.

Why is this relevant to Religion?

"God it is who has created seven heavens, and similar number of earths, The commandments comes down among them slowly, that you may know that God is Able to do all things, And that God surrounds all things in knowledge." Qur'an 65:12

How aware were the early Muslims, about the existence of extraterrestrials? "The idea that there is life elsewhere in the universe was derived from the Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) when he told the Muslims, "When you sit down in the prayer for the Attahiyat and say: "Peace be upon us, and the righteous servants of Allah" you actually send peace on all the righteous people living on the Earth and in the heavens."This clearly implies that all type of people, good and bad live in the other worlds as they live
on our Earth." (Also with reference to the book Rasial Imam Ghazali, in which according to Imam Muhammad Ghazali (11th Century): "People in some of these planetary worlds have learnt to travel and communicate with each other."

"And of his signs is the creation of the heavens and earth and what He has dispersed throughout them of creatures. And He, for gathering them when He wills, is competent." Qur'an 42:29

The word "sama", translated as "heavens", is also the Arabic for "sky". The above verse does not refer to birds in the sky which are mentioned separately from creatures of the heavens (dabbatun) in 24:41, "Do you not see that it is Allah Whose praise all beings in the heavens and on earth celebrate, and the birds with wings outspread?..." In a note to 42;29, Muhammad Asad states, "In the Quran, the expression "the heavens and earth" invariably denotes the universe in its entirety."

Muslims are waiting for NASA to catch up.

The first quote from the Professor,
"Our civilisation is on the verge of discovering evidence of alien life in the cosmos.
Taking into account all of the different activities and missions that are searching for alien life, we are on the verge of making one of the most profound, unprecedented discoveries in history."

Is only saying that his personal belief is that because we are looking so intensely at exoplanets for the first time, and because unfolding technology will make that task easier and more finely tuned, we may discover signs of life at some time in the future. No time span is given.

The second part of the quote is merely a quote from one of the authors of the article and not the professor or NASA, so you should correct your post to reflect this discrepancy.

Nothing in your religiously motivated quotes applies.

Thanks for blabbing it all over the Internet.
It was supposed to be a surprise from NASA. Now the announcement will never happen from them while they check out just who spilled the beans and spoiled the surprise.
