Holy crap. None of what I regularly listen to is even on the poll. I'll grant some of it is more obscure, but you don't even have classical listed. Bad poll is bad. >_>

Mann... I gotta catch'em all sometimes!

If anyone knows any I forgot please tell me.

I purposely excluded: Holiday music, preschool/learning music, and nature sounds.

I would add:

• Classical
• Soundtracks
• Instrumental
• New Age
• Folk/World/Traditional
• J-pop/K-pop
• Religious

There are hundreds of music genres, though. There are a bunch of international forms on here I haven't added; I put J-pop/K-pop up since it's relatively popular amongst the anime/manga craving teens and tweens of America.

I don't think Soundtracks, Instrumental, or religious is one type of genre though

Genres are fluid. You can argue all day until you're blue in the face about whether a genre is "one type" or "many types."

*points above for example*

I don't really understand music genre classifications, probably because I'm just not that into music. If it lacks words, I might be interested in it. If it has words in a foreign language so the words just become part of the tones, I might be interested in it. If it has words in English, odds are I'm not interested in it. >_>
