Well...from a religious point of view, many Catholics I know, affirm that Revelation 13 entirely speaks of the financial power, (the financial élites) (Beast from the Sea) that is nurtured and pampered by the governments (Beast from Earth).
They both are absolutely loyal to the Dragon that gives them the power.

This is what Monsignor Viganò thinks too...I am sure since he restlessly refers to Revelation when he speaks of those élites.

These élites will do anything to use this global emergency to deprive the working classes of everything.

It's all being used to bring in the new world order. They keep mentioning it. They keep letting that term slip.

Is this the secret, undergound movement that is prominently posted, in clear view, on the website?

How can one not know the consequences of shutdowns and the like? Its clearly intentional and deliberate.

Something is afoot and covid is the perfect catalyst and weapon to destroy just about every small business in existence, and give the elites a monopoly that will last for centuries even.

What Is "The Great Reset"?

It is basically about trying to re-imagine the way society works, for the greater benefit of its people.

It sounds very grandiose but it looks to me as if it is really trying to question the assumptions behind the neoliberal capitalist economic orthodoxy of recent decades which, as we have seen, have led to very unequal outcomes and a number of unintended consequences. It is trying to get political and business leaders to stand back from making the next dollar to ask "What are we really trying to do here, and are we really going about it in the best way?"

Note that it describes itself as a reset of capitalism. Nothing here about replacing capitalism, just making it work better for everyone.

Very laudable and high-minded, but I confess to some scepticism as to what will come from it. However I do think it is important to get leaders to raise their gaze from time to time and to think occasionally, on a transnational basis, about the good of the whole world.

What it quite obviously is not is some barking mad global conspiracy involving Bill Gates, the Illuminati and the Lizard People.

You can take that from me, as I'm a Lizard Person myself (after a 30 year+ international career with Shell).

Yes. What's afoot is trying not to overwhelm the health systems of various countries with Covid cases.

It's perfectly simple. In London, this spring, we damned nearly swamped the entire hospital system and had to get the army to convert exhibition halls into emergency ICU centres. A lot of our medics have still not recovered from the stress of that period. And now it is starting again.

So the government, not surprisingly, does not want to risk that again. If your health system collapses, nobody can get treated for anything, which is a national catastrophe because people die of strokes, heart attacks, cancer, car accidents etc.

The sinister international conspiracy is no more than a lot of stressed governments trying to keep their health systems - and their economies - limping through the winter while we get the vaccines organised.

This, no businesses to reopen save for the mega corporations, where have you been on demanding anti-trust suits be followed, opposed to corporate mergers that build into a monopoly, and a host of legislation that favors the wealthiest of corporations while crapping on mom-n-pop Main street? What about states like Indiana who shower large corporations in welfare and socialism while the small businesses get pot-hole ridden roads that shred tires and cause damage to cars.
America has a horrid death rate. It's 8th highest per 100,000 people.

If we look at this day-per-day, Covid is nearly as deadly as tobacco. Tobacco kills about 1300 a day. US often, frequently, and as of late typically adds over 1000 deaths a day with Covid.
This argument you, and many others, give is hardly any different than when Pence severely downplayed the risks of smoking and said it probably won't kill you.

It's odd that so many people believe in conspiracies to HARM, but can't imagine a conspiracy to HEAL.

I think it may be that history is full of secret plots that did cause injury and death.
Secret plans to heal,--especially in modern times when those looking to heal are more aware and conscious of informed consent--typically aren't.
We see news stories of armed soldiers rolling up in vehicles and slaughtering an unsuspecting populace.
It's not unusual for medical anthropologists to be called in for the healing plans to help explain things to a population who knows little of Western medicine. And transparency is required.
