Donald Trump is no Hitler. Nobody is like Hitler. Hitler attempted genocide and murdered one third of all Jews. He murdered and was responsible for tens of millions of other deaths.

... long after he rose to power. The comparisons between Trump and Hitler are in some respects to 1933 Hitler and in others to 1921 Hitler.

Comparisons to Hitler are unwarranted and show desperation on the part of those making such allegations. They are hurtful and insulting to the memories of Hitlers victims. They mock the survivors of Hitler's infamous crimes.

A question for you and everyone else here who doesn't like the comparison: if someone who really was the next Hitler came along, how would you recognize him? Assume you can't see the future and want to stop him before he's elected; what warning signs would you look for?

That leaves only Gary Johnson, who could at worst only be the next Goldwater.

Btw, I've even heard talk (really) that Obama might refuse to leave the presidency, thereby assuming a dictatorship.
Note that he has actually proposed eliminating the right to own guns for anyone government puts on the no-fly list.
So Obama could become the next Hitler.

It's amazing how people can work themselves up into a frenzy by imagining the
worst possibilities, & agonizing over them as though they're actually happening.

There are so many signs.....quotes about infringing freedom, numerological, using political skills to gain power, etc.
