This time the terrorist was not a Muslim
Unfortunately, this will probably turn out to be true. "If only those attending had all been armed to the teeth, this wouldn't have happened"Trump will say we need more people to buy assault rifles, which is the probable outcome of this.

Police described the suspect as being a local Las Vegas man who acted alone and was not believed to be connected to any militant group, Clark County Sheriff Joseph Lombardo told reporters.I guess you should let the county sheriff office know that they can rule out Muslim.
“We have no idea what his belief system was,” he said. “Right now, we believe he was the sole aggressor and the scene is static.”
The way they exploit fears, I don't see them thinking it a challenge. The whole idea of "you need a good guy with a gun to stop a bad guy with a gun" pretty much covers every situation. They don't focus on emphasizing that you need training, that your gun won't make you invincible, or that doing so could potentially make things much, much worse (as it likely would have here).Altfish,
Thing is, snipers are extremely difficult to hit, even if you are well prepared and have the right weapon. This is a scenario that the national rifles can't easily exploit.
P.
That isn't evidence of his religious affiliation. For all we know, he could have been Muslim. Or Christian. Or Buddhist. Or atheist. Or whatever.Saw the guys picture, a white American with a goatee, and a Filipino wife, with no political stuff on her facebook, proud grandma, used to work as a casino hostess.
