Yeah... I agree with this. It's the parents responsibility to teach their kids morality and how to act. If children are being pursuaded by a singer, the parents are at fault.

Yeah... I agree with this. It's the parents responsibility to teach their kids morality and how to act. If children are being pursuaded by a singer, the parents are at fault.

for all Sexual Orientations.
*She puts Artistic Expression
above conformity
and people's "comfort zones".
*She is a taboo smasher.
And while you might not realize it
from just hearing her pop stuff on the radio,
*she is a professionally accomplished pianist/keyboard player
and songwriter.
As well, she ACTUALLY can sing.
This is largley WHY she was "talent scouted"
for "pop stardom".
Including musical skill and ability
I hope to impart ALL of these things
in my children.
As an adult, I appreciate the veiled innuendo and visual symbolisms.
(in both lyric and video)
Of course 90% of this goes right over the kids' heads,
and probably most adults' heads as well.
You kind of have to speak "purposeful multiple meaning syntax"
to pick most of it up.
But then I'm an "Occultist" (from "hidden"),
so I see that sort of thing as yet another art form.

I wasn't really certain where to place this topic since it can be classified into "Entertainment", "Religious Discussion", or even some Government related section (depending on what your beliefs are)... But anyhow... I decided to just place it in General Discussion.
I was doing research on this Mike Quinsey guy and came across this:

It kind of made me laugh in a way... but what do you guys think? Is Lady Gaga what this man says she is? What about various other popstars? Are they only there for mind control purposes?

Sounds more like a disgruntled fan than anything else. Did she not accept his proposal of marriage or something? Did he not get a starring role in the video for "Alejandro" or "Telephone" or something? Feel like he has been jilted because he is her number one fan? Or perhaps, he feels that she is slighting Madge as the reigning Queen of Pop? Yeah, that feels more like it, he thinks she is a spawn / servant of evil because her popularity is threatening to overthrow Madonna's!

Taboos could be seen as "behaviors" that a society shuns.
Once it was "taboo" in our country for mixed race couples to marry
for example. (Interacial marriage)
Now it is "taboo" in our country for same sex couples to marry.
(gay marriage)
Once it was "taboo" for women in our country to wear skirts above the knee,
or work outside the home, or divorce and re'marry.
We also have our own personal taboos,
regarding what we should and shouldn't do...
(use tarot cards, watch lady Gaga videos...)
what is or isn't right, or acceptable...
