Killing in the name of Christ?

So... Millions of people have been killed in the name of Jesus Christ. Historians have estimated between 15 million killed in his name. This mostly includes Jews (WWII), Witches (Salem Witch Trials), and Pagans.

Were these murders Christian worthy? Or were the people that killed them just straight up nuts?

hitler killed many christians too... so he wasnt really killing in the name of christ

he was killing because he was a psycho who wanted anyone out of the way who he didnt like....including christians.

Many , if not all were extreme radical zealots with no association to Christ nor his movement....but purely driven and motivated by self righteous religious indignation.

There's a difference?
