Jesus (Yeshua, Iesous) was he (??):

    • God
    • Son of God
    • A Prophet
    • The Messiah (Christ, Masiach, Kristos)
    • not sure
    • none of the above
You can choose more than one choice to vote on.

Please post the scriptures that you are using to determine your choices. I.E. Quran (chapter:verse), KJV (chapter:verse), Tanakh (chapter:verse) or the complete passages would be even nicer.

Considering the (presumed) miserable end of Joshua Josephson, and the fact that his teachings did not get a successful market introduction until Paul, I don't think that he qualifies even for the title of a prophet, although this would be my nearest choice. Scriptures? You just read it here.

Using only the book of Matthew:
    He was a Prophet/son of God(not in a literal snese)/Christ.
Matthew 19:17: "Why callest thou me good? There is none good but One, that is God." Based on this statement Jesus is not God.
Matthew 21:9-11: "And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosana to the son of David:Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosana in the highest. And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this? And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazereth of Galilee."
Matthew 21:46: "But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet."
Matthew 23:8-9: But be not ye called Rabbi: For One is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are bretheren. And call no man your father upon the earth: for One is your Father, which is in Heaven." Here Jesus is saying that we are all sons or daughters of God, Jesus is not the only one who should be referred to as the son of God.
Matthew 1:16: "and Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ." There are many other references to Jesus being the Christ, but I will not list them at this time.

First, we all must realize Jesus Christ was the propitiation for the Worlds sins. He was the sin sacrifice. He was the pure lamb slaughtered for our salvation. Jewish Orthodox Religion can not swallow this....because they do not even believe Christ was anything but deluted man at best the gentiles prophet (LOL, obviously they have never studied him..let alone know him or his message).

Orthodox Jews believe they can earn salvation by the laws. I think this is a great err, and anyone who has attempted to hold every law knows that it is impossible (do you round the corners of your beard? Do you walk so many feet from your house on Sabbath?). And where are our sacrifices? Where can they be perfomed? God told us this must happen!! or we would be CUT OOFFF it aint happening folks..you can delude others but not those that think.

And what about the Jubilees? When was the last time anyone ever gave back land they bought after 49 years (or atelast on the actual day of the Jubiliee?) it dont happen. The laws are your schoolmaster..in them is death. What does the real God need lambs slaughtered for? What good does he (God) see in bloodshed?

Jesus Christ came into this world. He was the Word. The Word was with God from the very beginning. The Word Created the Universe. The Word was Light and Came into this World but the World Comprehended it Not. He was murdered for upsetting the money making system in the Temple that was going on at Sabbath. This is sad. This is pathetic.

Who can know God but God. "I know the Father...and the Father knows me" Jesus Christ.

"I and the Father are ONE"....Jesus Christ.

    "I am" Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ ... the only man who was sane. Jesus Christ the spirit of God was poured out on you without measure (you are God...I know the mystery). Ancient of Days whom their own prophets foretold. Enoch would have recognized you as I.

Our Hope for salvation. Our unblemished lamb who did not deserve death, but was sent for that purpose only.

May those with ears to hear,...hear.

For existence to exist, it has to be contained, so it is organized. WIthout our scientific "laws" organizing us, existince would not be permissible.

When it is contained it is in the general spherical idea. A circular image.

When you look into the stars you see your molecule's molecules.

Thus the concept of astrology was invented.

Ever heard of the Circle of life, and is it not true that what goes up must come down, what goes around must come around?

Does gravity exist because of the circular makeup of physical existence?

Doesnt everything have to be tied to something, so it can be there?

If what jesus did and said followed all of this completely and flawlessly, you would have to conclude that

    A. he was an evil man yet genius.
    or.
    B. He was the son of god, sent.

If we make up the cells that make up cells and those make up us, isnt that the only way we could be here at the moment?

When people want a visual proof of god to believe in him cannot they look at the structure of life before them to find the answer?

to be living do you have to be made of cells? yes.

Do cells have a nucleus, do cells get attacked by viruses, do white bloodcells kill the viruses and save the function of the cell?

DOes the bible state so many times how jesus would reappear in a pure white robe?

Is it possible that on this end of the circle of life he is the white blood cell that the nucleus of existence created and sent to attack the virus attacking the nucleus's creations?

SO isnt that enough of a sketch? and people close there minds to this concept yet still think they will someday come across the answers? how can people come across the answer when they block it off immediately, is that why we still havent found the answer?

On the great day when jesus and satan battle, will it not represent us as the molecules of the cell of existence, jesus as the white bloodcell protecting existence? And god as the entire nucleus of existence in itself?

So now can anyone deny the concepts i just told you about, and still look at a bloodcell and say hmm i want to investigate it. THey will never be done investigating it untill in their microscop they see themselves looking at a microscope. Isnt that the essence of existence and isnt that the essence cells create for us , dont we have to have cells to have an essence at all?

GOD IS THE ESSENCE OF EXISTENCE, YOU ARE HERE AS A PRE-REQUISITE, AFTER THIS PLACE WILL BE A NEW EXISTENCE IF YOUR WORTHY, AND IF YOU ARE TO EXIST, WHY HAVE IT BE ANYTHING BUT ALL COMPREHENSIBLE WONDERFUL THINGS, GOD WANTS YOU THERE BUT HE HAS YOU HERE FIRST SO THERE IS A REASON YOU CAN GO THERE, SATAN WILL LIE AND MAKE YOU BELIEVE ANYTHING BUT THIS BECAUSE HE IS JEALLOUS, IS NOT A VIRUS DAMAGING THE CELL OUT OF JEALLOUSY FROM THE STARS THAT MAKE THE VIRUS AND CELL, AND ISNT THAT ALL CREATED BY GOD?

Satan is an anti, cast him away
When you find god, who is in jesus, you will be given NOTHING BUT SALVATION because they are fighting for you to have it, all you have to do is JOIN THEM.

ACCEPTANCE. BUT ONLY POSSIBLE WITH AN OPEN MIND.

You might want to reread that... An ordinary man doing extrodinary things is better than an extrodinary man doing ordinary things. But that would be better moved to a 'debate' section, should you wish to discuss it.

And I'd have to say that that's much better than being blinded by Satin. Whenever I get distracted by that shiny substance...

First, I do not believe that all of a sudden God wanted a human sacrifice. Human sacrifice is not part of the religion of the One God. That is something that was started by Paul the Liar.

Second, Jesus also said the disciples and I are one. Does that mean they are all God too?
Are there now more parts to God than 3?
Matthew 19:17: "Why callest thou me good? There is none good but One, that is God." Based on this statement Jesus is not God.

The Bible is the stories of the prophets, but there have been modifications for whatever reasons throughout history. There are many truths as well as many lies. It has been changed to slander prophets in the old testament (Lot fornicating with his daughters after offering them up to be raped by the people of Sodom(Genesis 19:8, 19:33-34), Abraham marrying his sister(20:12)). I was not there so I did not witness the events, but If they are the prophets of God, then this could not be. We are supposed to believe Lot and his daughters were righteous enough to be the only ones saved from the destruction of the city(I know his wife was supposedly magically turned into a pillar of salt after she was out of the city), but he then got drunk and had sex with his daughters?
The new testament is ok for the most part except for the writings of Paul. He was an antichrist that came to mislead the people after Jesus left the scene. I was reading Romans last night and I found out that I am weak because I do not feast on dead flesh (Romans 14:1-2). It is apparently weak to not kill God's creatures to eat them when there is no reason to do so. I do not remember Jesus calling people weak if they do not chow down on a pork chop. I believe in the teachings of Jesus and the prophets, but not Paul.

You have that reversed. Lot's daughters got him drunk believing that they would not be able to find men to be husbands where they were and had incest with their father while he was incapacitated in order to keep the family line going.

I do not have it reversed. I said according to the Bible, Lot got drunk and had sex with his daughters. That is what you said as well, but in different words. It does say that his daughters got him drunk, nevertheless he got drunk. If I give someone a bottle of whiskey and he drinks it, he got drunk.

How do you know what is truth and what is lies? If the writers of the Bible were so ignorant and deceived to include the writings of the anti-christ Paul (and follow those teachings I might add) how do you know if ANY of the Bible is correct?
Again.... how can you be sure ANY of the Bible is correct? They were ignorant enough to include the anti-christ in the book.... what makes you think they got a single word of Christ's correct?
Again..... how can you be sure Jesus did not call people weak? Because it's not in the Bible? You already said there were "modifications for whatever reasons throughout history"..... maybe Jesus saying this was removed..... how can you be sure?

If you can't trust ALL of the Bible........ why trust ANY of the Bible.

Personally I think that Jesus (real or not) was a good teacher. He had good words about peace, love and self sacrifice for your fellow man.
But that is as far as my 'faith' in Jesus goes. ;)
