Is Homosexuality a illness? And how to heal?

The one issue has nothing to do with the other. I simply asked you to try to respect those of us on this forum who are gay, whether male homosexual or lebian or transgender, by not using language that is offensive to us. And against the forum rules as well. Thank you in advance for cooperating.

And yet, how we are created has a rather simple biological explanation. Not a miracle at all.

if there are no simple biological explanations, then how do you explain this:

Reducing Prejudice Through Brain Stimulation

Intriquing study. Here are my problems with it, however. One. The sample size is incredibly small. Two. I saw no consideration of extraneous factors that could have an influence on this. three. what were the long term effects of this? IOW. did the cognitive stimulation result in changes that were lasting or did the subjects who were allegedly changed revert to thier original thought patterns. Four. Where were the subjects drawn from and what variables were used in deciding which person was assigned to which group? Five. I saw no remarks on the statistical significance of this study. Was there any at all? Too many questions left unanswered for my ability to randomly accept this at present.

the answer is that even if the effects are temporary, you are prejudice free for however long you can be. :)

I know there are christian camps for homosexuals for healing.
Do u think that works if homosexuality is a illness and curse?

Homosexuality is neither an illness nor a curse. It is simply a part of some people's manifestation. A little like being born with blue eyes. Or like being born a bigot. We're all who we are.

You can be sure that if God did not wish to have gay people or bigots in the world, there wouldn't be any.

My notion of a cure may not be the same as other people's notion of a cure. I thought, that homosexuals are unable to be sexually attracted to opposite genders. If it is not like that, I was simply wrong. If this is true, than my notion of a cure would change into, allowing homosexuals to love opposite genders and finding them attractive.

.......with a massive amount of coercian and projected guilt? ....... that doesn't sound like a cure to me. It sounds like bigotry.

There's no way that man could know the past and future that can only be taught to him by the Creator of the simulation. If time was something real, then it would be impossible to know the future.
Didn't read other posts, so don't know if this has anything to do with what you said... but...

We know and create the future quite often. The only true variable is decision -and even that is somewhat predictable, and can be guided or manipulated. Decision can only choose from available options, but can thereby make more options available.

If you have so called "gay" people who have no problem with having sex with people of the opposite gender, then you have to ask the obvious question:

How are they getting it up?

Sounds like "gender orientation" is the myth.

I mean, this sort of like saying you think red heads are hot, so... you won't have sex with brunettes. What does that mean?

Would there be a "cure" to help people become sexually attracted to red heads?

Of course not. Because sexual orientation is total BS.

A real-life problem is when someone can't get an erection.
I encourage you to research the solutions.

How do prostitutes and porn workers get it up?
Simple Biology. If you physically stimulate someone's sex organs, guess what happens? They get sexually aroused. How do you think orgasms during sexual abuse occurs? Sexual orientation doesn't preclude rape, sexual abuse, fantasies, sexual curiosity, one night stands, prostitution, drunken sexual liaisons etc etc.

Sexual orientations does NOT speak of one's sexual behavior. This was explained pages ago.
People who study sexuality go out of their way not to label specific sexual behaviors as either heterosexual or homosexual or even bisexual. They use terms like 'Men who have sex with men" or "Men who have sex with women" instead.

Sexual activity does NOT require one to be sexually attracted to their partner. See above.

Liking brunettes is not a bloody orientation, it's a personal preference. Like if one happens to like big butts (and cannot lie. Sorry had to say it.) or small breasts. Everyone, gay straight or otherwise has their own personal preferences of what they look for in a potential mate. This can be attributed to a Biological Phenomenon known as Sexual Selection pressures. Though I ain't a Biologist so don't quote me on that.

Whatever, if it feels good to you then do it, as long as we don't hurt others, as those who are against, hurt them.

"If it feels good to you, then you do it," is the kicker :) . I do think though that there are two things envolved. One is "sexual urge" and the other is "emotional completeness". I admit that with sex relative to gender that I could have gone either way, or both ways for that matter, because of sexual urge (I was never sexually attracted to animals). It is just that at a young age I decided to be heterosexual because that was considered the "norm". And because I could achieve emotional completeness with either a man or a woman I chose a woman because that was considered the norm. I do not regret my decision because back in my younger days nobody knew about AIDs, which because of my sexual nature as a young person, would have gotten me. So anyway, I feel nothing but compassion for those that are attempting to achieve emotional completeness with someone of the same gender because I understand where they are coming from. I would have been happy being gay if society would have been more open minded about that kind of stuff back in the day, but at the sametime my third wife and I have been married for twenty-eight years now and we emotionally complete each other and I have no complaints about the sex. Psychoslice, I am caught in two worlds so I understand both sides of the picture. My heart goes out to everybody.

I refer all to the extensive research that has be conducted since the beginning of time, the fact that it was declassified as an illness and the fact that it does not negatively impact our lives EXCEPT for when straight people decide to have an issue with it.

You really need to understand the physiology behind male erections. Both sexes can be physiologically aroused by a number of means. I assume you are male, based on the post here and how you refer to certain topics. Sexual arousal is an hormonal reaction of the body. It can be induced by a number of means. And btw, being gay is much much more than sexual attraction to the same sex. Its about love.

Apologies Some Random, I should have read ahead, you explained this much better than I did.
