And the populace will welcome us as heroes...just as they did in Iraq.Iran is a kitty without claws. It'll be ok.

Yep, and why is it important that Iran remains a perceived enemy of the U.S. exactly?
And the populace will welcome us as heroes...just as they did in Iraq.
Trump & predecessors, apparently.Ugh who wants to invade it.
The Bushes obviously did.Ugh who wants to invade it.
Trump & predecessors, apparently.
As I've posted before, I know an engineer who worked
on a tow vehicle for mortars, one designed specifically
for a boots on the ground invasion of Iran.
The've been planning for this. People like to carry out plans.
Once Trump has got us into a war, it'll be a lot too late.Well I'll believe when I see it.
.
The Bushes obviously did.
Trump rather reminds me of them.

They fought us off in the 80s with rocks and sticks and grit.TL;DR - Iran has stood up to us, and our leaders have decided they can't allow that to happen.
What does that mean? You didn't know the Bushes then.
Nonsense.Trump is closer to Bill Clinton's politics than he is Bush's. Bill was a coward is all.
The plans are there, whether or not they are ever carried out.Well I'll believe when I see it.
The plans are there, whether or not they are ever carried out.
I only point out the risks...
1) One that war is planned, but then it doesn't go according to plan.
2) Planning for something risks the plans influencing intentions.
3) Intentions & influences to attack Iran are already in evidence, eg...
- Hillary's threat.
- Trumps threats & almost starting the war.
- Israel's urging preemptive strikes on Iran.
Nonsense.
The Bushes invaded and Clinton didn't.
The Bushes lost and Clinton didn't.
Also Clinton left the USA better of economically than the Bushes, but that's a different issue.
Tom
We invaded Iran around 40 years ago.All irrelevant
I agree.Fear mongering doesn't help.
And let's not forget the military contractors who profit from our being on a continuous war footing.
The big question is, are all the Iranians in Iran or are some closer to our homes.
Are the ones closer to our homes going to be sitting on the fence if a war breaks out?
