Looking back on things, it seems to me Trump really only controlled his mouth as it seems pretty much everything else was planned and organized by some one else. No they don't .. Grace 1 is a Panama flagged tanker. The crews may be from Indonesia or Honduras or anywhere, but they are NOT prepared for gun battles or a major oil spill.

You cannot know that. What makes you think none of the crew have weapons? I think it's silly to assume they're unarmed. Even armored truck drivers are armed, and the cash they have is much less significant than that of an oil supertanker.

Yeah I do know that. They aren't armed. Remember back when the Somali pirates were so active.

My father worked on the docking issues during the closure of the Suez Canal .. Remember it didn't reopen until 1975.. So they went from Tankers that would fit thru the Suez to supertankers. He was back and forth to London working on solutions.

Those tanker crews are not trained or armed for resistance or a pitched gun battle.

What was going to shoot them down? They boarded an oil tanker, not a military vessel. And landing/boarding a vessel at night to commondeer or attack it is actually pretty old history.
