If you could invite any two people (from the present or the past) to dinner, who would you invite?

This is just a question I thought of recently. As for me, I would choose Jesus Christ and Bertrand Russell. It would be fun to discuss philosophy, life, and the nature of reality with those two. Their opinions would at times clash and at other times (perhaps more often than we might immediately assume) share similarities. Of course this assumes that Jesus was a real historical person, and I believe that he was. For those of you who don't know who Bertrand Russell was, look him up. One of the greatest minds of all time IMO. Anyway, how about you? Who would you choose and why?

Let's see first would be Samuel Clemens.

His views on life and religion were far ahead of his time and his yarns and philosophies would keep me spellbound for a long time. Not to mention a riverboat ride down the Mississippi. :0]

Second would be with George Washington to ask him what he would think of the country today that he helped established and what it has become now 200 plus years later and if he would have regretted this decision.

Nice. Those are neat choices too. Of course I can think of a lot of interesting possibilities. There are many historical figures I would've loved to meet.

Socrates, he's kind of a hero, and Jesus, just to ask really what his life was like.

This is an awesome thread. Seriously.

Goebbels & Oscar Wilde.

Emily Bronte & Milo.

Jordan Peterson & Karl Marx.

Trump & [Any of the Founding Fathers].

I'd love to go on but kinda busy...

I'll probably continue posting on this thread.

Excellent question.

How about Antony and Cleopatra? I think it would be fun to have them over for dinner. We'd get pizza at Little Caesar's. I'm sure they'd get a big kick out of that.

This sounds like the beginnings of a porno.

I would like L Ron Hubbard and Sam Harris have a chat.

Hitler and a random SJW protester off the street from some protest. It would be epic really, who can scream the loudest? Hitler had some lungs on him.
