It's good of the quiz to try to be nice, but the fact is, it's the former. I've never been logical, but I admire it in others!

I got the incredibly logical option . I am also lame enough that I use to do dell logic puzzles for entertainment in my 20's from ages 20-29

I better have gotten this. Though question five was not right.

Since you have fifty socks of five colors you have ten socks of each color. If you pick ten socks you could have ten of one color. Also if you have eight pairs of shoes of 4 diffrent colors then you have two of each color. Therefore if you get six pairs you could have 3 colors at least but if you get five you also have three colors at least. So the answer that the quiz considered correct (6 shoes and 10 socks) was not sufficent. Also the question assumes that the sock colors are the same as the shoe colors and that the colors are distributed in equal proporitions. So the truly correct answer should be "none of the above." The question cannot be solved with the information given. It rests on unproven assumptions.

can do crosswords and sudoku if i apply my brain to do it really well, yet i didnt come across very logical.

I'm the kinda guy who sucks at crosswords because I never know about the topics they are on (1936 NFL players and crap like that) Sudoku is more pure logic, crosswords are more accumulated knowledge. Probably why I suck at crosswords but rock at Sudoku :)

You read the question wrong. It doesn't say you have 8 pairs of shoes, it says you have 8 shoes, or 4 pairs of shoes. It was a very poorly worded question though. I believe I got that one wrong as well due to confusion.
